Shipping & Returns


All orders will be shipped via USPS for standard, residential addresses in the United States, including Alaska and Hawaii.

Online Return Policy

M-F:  10 am to 7:00 pm

Valid for products when authorized by management for return.  Products must be in the original packaging and in "resale" condition.  Defective items will be evaluated by management for either a replacement, exchange or return.

Not Returnable for Refund, Exchange or Replacement:  Personalized or Custom Bottles, Individual Components of Gift Baskets, or Product Requests beyond the 30 day return window.

Undeliverable or Refused Shipments


Flat Rate Fixed  $14.00 ships anywhere in the United States, regardless of size of order.

Orders received will be processed and delivered to our shipping carriers within 2-3 business days.  The shipping carrier's standard delivery times then apply.   To estimate your product arrival, please allow 2-3 business days of The Smiling Olive processing time plus estimated delivery time of 3 to 5 business days for most shipments.  If product must arrive by a specific date, please call us at 1-952-361-9939 to review the available shipping options at the most affordable rates.  If there are any questions at all regarding shipping, please give us a call and we will do our best to honor and/or accommodate any reasonable requests.

$14.00 Flat Rate Shipping on any order including Hawaii and Alaska.

Due to freshness of our oil and vinegar products and limited availability of select products, returns will be honored within 30 days of the confirmed delivery date by our shipping carriers.  If you wish to return an item, please call us for authorization at:  952-361-9939
Please request to speak with a manager regarding a return and have your The Smiling Olive order on hand.  Returns will not be accepted without prior authorization.

Refunds, Exchanges or Replacements

Note:  Shipping costs (when applicable) are not refundable unless the product was damaged, defective or the product/order issue was the result of an error by The Smiling Olive.
The Smiling Olive is not responsible for undeliverable or refused shipments by the recipient.  In the event of a returned package to The Smiling Olive contact the customer regarding the situation and work to coordinate a new delivery.  It is, however, the customer's responsibility to pay for the incremental shipping charges if re-shipment is requested.  If it is unable to be re-shipped, The Smiling Olive will refund the amount of the order, less original shipping costs, to the customer.
